Revolt DSP is a collaboration of independent software and audio engineers. Our mission is to develop the next generation of audio plug ins and software, without reusing old code and technology like some of the legacy audio companies. We use innovative methods to recreate analogue gear more accurately than ever before, at affordable and accessible price points. Whether you are just starting out or a commercial producer, Revolt DSP is here to help you achieve your dream. 

Revolt DSP is an independent development company, all of our engineers and contributors work from their own home or studio. The only thing you are paying for when you buy a Revolt plug in is the developers time, continuous development and support. No big shiny office or CEO bonuses allow us to deliver work we are truly proud of, without compromising the quality of work to benefit shareholders. 

Revolt DSP has made the choice to exclude installers for transparency in our first year of business on the basic plugins. This allows our customers to see that we are supplying nothing but the raw plug in, and by downloading directly from this website without installers, you can be assured that the software is genuine with no malware attached. We do not license or permit our software to be downloaded from third party sites, this is again to protect our customers interests. 

Due to security changes within Apple OSX, you may receive a warning stating "xxx.component cannot be installed because Apple cannot check it for malicious software." To fix this while we develop cosigned and notarised installers to fit the security requirements, please follow the below guide:

• Go to the Settings menu
• select privacy and security, 
• scroll down to security
• you should see a notification saying "xxx.component was blocked from use."
• Select allow anyway. 
• You may have to restart your machine, but normally closing and reopening your DAW will be enough to rescan and verify the plug in. 

Please check that your system is compatible with the requirements. Currently we do not support intel macs. Our oldest test machine has an M1 processor so we can only guarantee M1 onward compatibility. However, we are currently working on a universal mac intel AU build for EVOamp Lite and Suite.
